UU Lent Book Group
Introduction Gathering March 2nd at 5pm

“What makes these parables mysterious, or difficult, is that they challenge us to look into the hidden aspects of our own values, our own lives.                                          They bring to the surface unasked questions,                                               and they reveal the answers we have always known,                                                                     but refuse to acknowledge….”                                              -Levine, Amy-Jill.

This months Soul Matters Theme:     the Practice Inclusion

What is this?
You come, join friends, and we
Cook lunch together,
EAT together,
Chat about UU… love, values, etc.

How does Cook, Eat, Chat events work?
Cook: One person volunteers to be the “chef of the day.” The chef of the day plans the menu, and sets up kitchen, includes the participants in event and all cook together.
Please Note: Anyone, because of allergies or other reasons, may want to just “hang out” or help set the table (table clothes, utensils, etc.)

Eat: When the meal is ready everyone sits down at the table together and enjoys the meal including the chef.
If you prefer, you are welcome to bring your allergy proof lunch

Chat: Open UU oriented conversation on Soul Matters Theme or FPCC Topic

Interested in joining in? Please RSVP Dolores, LFFD; dre@uuchelmford.org
